Julie has become a Director of the Scottish Society Botanical Artists (SSBA) after being asked to join following her contributions to the committee and in particular the education side of the society. She is delighted and flattered by this and hopes to contribute to the future of the SSBA.

Prosperous Farm in Hungerford is a magnificent country house set in lovely gardens in Berkshire. It is full of plantlife that the owner, Bindi Kent, wished to record. She is a plantswoman, collector (and national collection holder) and botanical painter herself.
In 2022, she commissioned a number of select botanical artists who are part of the Amicus Botanicus (the Alumni group from the Chelsea Physic Garden botanical art diploma graduates) to create a Florilegum - a book of botanical paintings from the garden. This has just been published and Julie's painting of the Helebore Orientalis is included in this prestigious book.
